HS GOLF: Bell helps Scranton Prep defeat Abington Heights

Brendan Bell recorded five birdies and shot a medalist-winning round of 32 on Thursday as undefeated Scranton Prep slipped past Abington Heights, 139-145, in a Lackawanna League boys golf match at Glen Oak Country Club.

Ben Boyanoski, Bobby Stott and Cole Powell added two birdies apiece for the Cavaliers. Ben Walsh and Guy Rothery had one birdie each.

Phillip Matthews and Connor O’Malley-Kalinoski each carded two birdies for Abington Heights. Sebastian Meyer and Seamus Kelly had one birdie each for the Comets.
